David Beckam
(1975 - ) Soccer Superstar
Achievement: Probably the world's richest and most famous soccer player
Achievements made possible by the exposure he got to the game by
accompanying his parents to many of the Manchester United games and later
by joining Manchester United when he was sixteen
Notable: His ability to pass the ball with pin-point accuracy and
his trademark free kicks have made him very popular among his peers.
Born on May 2, 1975 in Leytonstone, London to Ted and Sandra Beckham,
who were staunch supporters of Manchester United.
Education: David started his education at a school in Essex. He was
not very good at school work, prefering to play soccer during all his
spare time.
Married: David married Spice Girl (Posh Spice) Victoria Adams of
Hertfordshire, England in July of 1999.
